The Shootouts are known for their energetic blend of Honky-Tonk, Americana, and traditional Country. In 2019, the band's debut release Quick Draw, charted on Americana radio and garnered an Ameripolitan Music Award nomination for “Best Honky-Tonk Group.”
They have shared the stage with luminaries like Marty Stuart, Jim Lauderdale, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Radney Foster, Sheryl Crow, Chris Isaak, and many more.
Their follow-up album Bullseye, produced by BR549 co-founder Chuck Mead, was released in 2021 and featured by a range of tastemaker press outlets including Rolling Stone Country, American Songwriter, Wide Open Country, The Boot, and The Bluegrass Situation, amongst others. The album spent eighteen weeks in the top 30 on the Americana Music album chart, including three weeks in the top 10.
The Shootouts are currently in the studio recording their third album Stampede with 10x Grammy-winner Ray Benson of Asleep at The Wheel at the production helm.
